A Premium, Complimentary Coffee Experience

Our coffee tastings offer Scanomat UK customers the opportunity to experience Amokka® coffee at its best. Hosted by one of our TopBrewer experts, each tasting is designed to be informative, engaging and enjoyable, with consistently excellent feedback from previous events.

During the tasting, guests will have the chance to sample up to four Amokka® coffees. Participants can explore different flavour profiles and nominate their favourite coffee, with the opportunity for the two favourites to be added to your TopBrewer.

Each tasting runs for approximately three hours in total, allowing one hour for setup followed by two hours of tasting and discussion led by a TopBrewer expert.

Haleon Coffee Tasting

We had an Amokka coffee tasting this morning with Scanomat and it was a brilliant experience. Huge thanks to Marcin, Declan, Daniela and Ellie who were passionate, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with.

The Amokka® Coffee Experience

Our tastings go beyond simply drinking coffee. Guests will learn about the origins of Amokka® coffees, including our commitment to impact trade and sustainability. We guide participants through the differences between light, medium and dark roasts, and explain how roasting and brewing methods influence flavour, aroma and body. The result is a deeper understanding of the coffee-making process and what makes each cup unique.

Impact Trade

We are proud to trade directly with coffee producers, investing in projects that make a difference.

Great to hear how you source the coffee. Having good coffee well-made makes a big difference.

What We Need From You

To arrange a coffee tasting, we ask for a proposed date with at least one week’s notice. Once the date is confirmed, we will provide promotional materials to support the event. We also require a table or large surface for the tasting setup, along with your choice of up to four Amokka® coffees. If you wish, you are welcome to provide pastries or cakes to accompany the tasting, although this is entirely optional.

(Ethical Coffee Sourcing and Pricing Stability: A Green Coffee Buyer’s Perspective) The global coffee market is volatile, but the impact on farmers is even more severe. At Scanomat, our green coffee sourcing strategy focuses on fair trade, direct relationships, and pricing stability that supports producers through both highs and lows. Discover how we’re rethinking what ethical coffee sourcing really means.

(Why We Choose Impact Trade Over Certification) We believe that by working directly with farmers, we can create a more effective and adaptable model that supports both quality coffee production and long-term sustainability. Instead of relying on fixed pricing structures and external certification bodies, we focus on fair pricing, transparency, and meaningful investment in farming communities.

(Under the Canopy: Shade, Sun and Why Context Matters in Coffee) There is no single right way to grow coffee. The right approach depends on climate, variety, management and, crucially, the livelihoods of the people who run the farm. Labels like “shade-grown” can be helpful, yet they often hide more than they reveal.
