DFDS install 16 TopBrewer coffee machines at sustainable HQ
When the Danish shipping company DFDS moved into their new sustainable headquarters in Copenhagen, they installed TopBrewer coffee machines to deliver premium, freshly-brewed barista-quality coffee for their 700 employees.

Sustainable coffee
Overlooking the water and with the Oslo ferry as its nearest neighbour, the new DFDS headquarters on Marmormolen in Copenhagen was designed with their employees in mind.
Employees can make the most of the spectacular view as they enjoy the freshly brewed Amokka® coffee from the 16 TopBrewer Pro Series coffee machines installed in the workplace. The 16 TopBrewers are installed alongside 16 TopWater solutions in free-standing islands that perfectly suit the modern, minimalist interior.
Designed by PLH Architects, from the start there has been a significant focus on creating a sustainable building suitable for the 700 strong workforce, who moved into their new headquarters in 2022. Thanks to their range of sustainable features and eco-credentials, TopBrewer and TopWater were the natural choices when it came to picking beverage solutions for the office.

Silent coffee solution for the office
The TopBrewer and TopWater machines installed at DFDS HQ have been very well received by employees. The ability to use the intuitive TopBrewer app to customise their coffee according to personal preferences such as strength and milk type has been very popular, allowing them to brew their perfect coffee, every time.
With the TopBrewer machines being located in social areas where employees take breaks and hold meetings, when deciding on the best coffee solution for the space noise was an important consideration. Thanks to TopBrewer's unique design and under-counter brew unit, it's nearly silent when it brews coffee, allowing the DFDS team to meet, chat and share ideas over their favourite coffee without the fear of being interrupted.
Sleek design
The DFDS head office is a modern space with a focus on creating the best employee environment and enhancing the workplace experience. The interior is functional yet modern and stylish, and thanks to the unique under-counter design, DFDS's architects had complete freedom to design a beautiful space into which TopBrewer and TopWater could be seamlessly integrated.
TopBrewer looks elegant and fits in well with the building and design. We have been happy with the coffee solution and the setup we have. It works well for our employees, and they are happy.
CoffeeCloud management
The DFDS facilities team have used Scanomat's market-leading cloud management system, CoffeeCloud, to monitor their large fleet of machines from the start. Via CoffeeCloud, the facilities team have access to real-time data and insights for their machines, allowing them to remotely monitor performance, see diagnostics and receive notifications when the coffee beans need to be refilled or when the machines need cleaning.
