A great opportunity has arisen to join our successful marketing team as a Sales and Marketing Assistant within a rapidly growing business. This is a key role working primarily from home within the marketing team. You will support the Head of Marketing and the wider team on day-to-day activities and take charge of specific responsibilities.

The successful candidate will have marketing skills and will be happy to get involved in a wide range of marketing activities. Attention to detail, organisational skills and good written English are essential for this role.

You will be energetic with a flair for creating engaging social media content and be happy to get hands on with client go lives and events. Therefore, you will need to be within easy reach of our core client base in Central London.

Location: Working from home with travel to Central London approximately once a week. Occasional travel to meetings as required.

Hours: Full Time Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 DOE

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Log and assign new inbound enquiries to the CRM system
  • Prepare sales proposals in a timely manner using the proposal template
  • Identify and research new opportunities and log them onto the CRM system
  • Visit client sites and support go lives to create engaging social media content, e.g. Videos, Photos, Reels and Live Stories
  • Schedule social media posts across channels
  • Assist with planning tradeshows / events as required, ensuring a great customer experience and ROI
  • Assist with creating content that is relevant to our audience and strategy
  • Plan, build and send bi-weekly internal newsletter
  • Research and source marketing and sales collateral as required
  • Assist with planning and preparing for internal meetings
  • Assist the Sales Director with sales reports for meetings

Skills

Knowledge, skills and experience:

√ Bachelors Degree in marketing or related field 
√ Equivalent experience in a marketing role considered
√ Lives within easy reach of Central London
√ A hands-on attitude
√ Creative flair
√ Knowledge and interest in various social media platforms
√ Able to write engaging and original copy
√ Excellent communication skills
√ Eagerness to learn and stay up to date with latest marketing trends and technologies
√ Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel and Word
√ Experience of using CRM software desirable, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
