DFDS chose TopBrewer coffee solution for its new headquarters
When the Danish shipping company DFDS moved into their new sustainable headquarters in Copenhagen, the 700 employees came in for freshly brewed barista coffee from TopBrewer and sparkling TopWater water.

Sustainable coffee solution with a sea view
With the Oslo ferry as the nearest neighbour, the view from the DFDS headquarters on the Marmormolen in Copenhagen is certainly not wrong. A location they share with the UN City.
With the spectacular view, employees can enjoy the freshly brewed Amokka® coffee from the 16 TopBrewer Pro fully automatic coffee machines. Together with 16 TopWater sparkling water solutions, the machines are installed in free-standing islands that blend nicely into the interior.
The DFDS employees moved into their new headquarters in 2022. PLH Architects designed the building, and from the start, there was a significant focus on creating a sustainable building. Therefore, Scanomat's machines were a natural choice, as TopBrewer is among the most sustainable coffee machines for larger offices.

The employees at DFDS have taken TopBrewer and TopWater to heart. The option to adjust their coffee according to personal preferences on the iPad with strength and milk type is popular among employees. It is easy and intuitive to brew the coffee you want on the TopBrewer.
Several areas where TopBrewer is installed at DFDS are social meeting points for employees. Here they take breaks and hold short meetings. Therefore, it has been noted that the TopBrewer, due to its unique design with installation in the cabinet under the worktop, is an incredibly quiet machine when it brews coffee.

The DFDS head office is a modern office building where many resources have been used to create the best employee environment. The interior is modern and functional from the start. Here, the architects have had enormous freedom to integrate TopBrewer and TopWater.
TopBrewer looks light and elegant and fits in well with the building and design. We have been happy with the coffee solution and the setup we have. It works well for our employees, and they are satisfied.
CoffeeCloud helps with an overview
At DFDS, the facility employees have used Scanomat's cloud management system, CoffeeCloud, to monitor their large fleet of machines from the start. Via CoffeeCloud, the facility managers have monitored the performance of the machines and received messages such as when to top up with coffee beans or when the machines need cleaning.
